Do you think maybe US govt action is a factor in this rally? And if so, what might that mean for its sustainability?

You could make the same case with the opposite conclusion: that the government, thru the fed, and 11 interest rate cuts, had no effect on turning around the stock market for 3 years.

But, yes, check back even to 1914, the government closed the stock market for several months, opened it back up and she took off.

The market is moving higher as it recalibrates the reduced risk premium as the war clears the fog of uncertainty.
