Sorry to bring a reality shot into this conversation, you guys might like to learn that Chirac has never been so popular in France. His anti-war stance is widely supported by the public. If there were elections tomorrow, he would do far better than the 80% he got the last time. I don't know where you get your news from Hawk (don't say Fox & Murdoch) but they are just not correct re Chirac's popularity.
