I spend more time out in the world each year than you do in a lifetime. There is no country in the world that we cannot reduce to a pile of radioactive rubble if we chose -- and that is a fact. You are so impressed with our military power. We, as a nation, in the past year have become blind to the implications of using it unwisely. I know I have been lied to and I know that my personal security is far lower than it was a year ago. I know that we have fed the world's hatred of us so well in the past months that there is enough hatred of America to last a generation -- that was not the case a year ago when hatred of the United States was on the wane in the wake of 9/11.
