Bush, Big Oil & Iraq...

["Our President is exercising his Moral responsibility to the people in his pocket. Big Oil and the defense industry."]

...what a load of crap ~

How many times has Bush said publically & on the International Stage - "that the Iraqi Oil is the property of the people of Iraq"....not the property of Saddam, nor the property of America.

Tony Blair just echoed this fact in his address to the British people - quote/unquote: "the Oil of Iraq will be put into a Trust Fund for the people of Iraq."

If we wanted the Iraqi, or Middle East OIL - why didn't we just follow Saddam into Baghdad in the first Gulf War and take it; or take the Kuwaiti Oil as reparations for saving their asses the first time ?

The role that OIL plays in this War is secondary, but none the less, very, very important; as we must prevent OIL from being used as a WMED - ie: a Weapon of Mass Economic Destruction.

America & the free world will win, by restoring the Iraqi Oil Fields to their former production capacity and aiding in new exploration.

Will American as well as International Oil companies play a role in the upgrading of the Iraqi Oil infastructure ? - Yes, but the Iraqi people will be the primary beneficiary of the return of the Oil proceeds to rebuilding their country & it's economy.

Will the Industrial Nations benefit by cheaper, free flowing Oil hitting the market ? - yes....a clear, win- win situation.

No one is fooled by all of the political cheap shots taken at Bush lately, or the inane drivel found here on this thread on this issue.

Democrats have sunk to new lows... enviromentalists & Pro-Choice activists have taken their seminal differences on those specific political issues and used this as an opportunity to launch cheap shot political attacks toward Bush and America's justification in eliminating Saddam and his bio, nuclear and terrorism threat from power, along with freeing & liberating the Iraqi people from this madman's tyranical reign.

I'll repeat this -

Those who were clamoring most loudly for Bush & his Administrations hides for failing to act on internal intelligence information in preventing the attacks of Sept 11th - are now the same voices who so repulsively and hypocritically are arguing against Bush now acting upon much more clear & convincing internal intelligence in removing Saddam from power and dramatically lowering, if not eliminating the greatest threat and source of financing & distribution of WMD's in the Terrorist World.

You'll all sleep in a much safer, secure world tonight and tomorrow, because of the courage of George Bush & Tony Blair.
