17:17 ET Intuit lowers 2nd-half growth outlook (INTU) 50.44: Co reduces 2003 guidance to a range of $1.30-$1.35 on revs of $1.65-$1.69 bln vs prior guidance of $1.38-$1.42 and revs of $1.71-$1.77 bln (Multex consensus $1.39/$1.73 bln). "We're disappointed to see a sluggish economy worsening in the past few weeks with a further decrease in customer spending in all our categories. This is not an issue with just one of our businesses -- all our businesses have been affected."
