I think it is part of the intimidation to get more countries "onside" as fast as possible. They are updating the coalition numbers continually. I think it means coalition of "friends" and "allies". I think the message is similar to the one given after 9/11: If you're not with us...you just might be against us. Right now we need your support so as to confront world opinion and justify our actions...tomorrow...you may need our support, for something more important.

In any event. The list is being updated continually..and for something so important...is the US going to forget who was and wasn't on the list when it comes to International issues of aid, economics, etc.??

EDIT: And, of course, they are on the phones day and night. At least the pretense of majority support is critical. So what are they saying on the phone? Are you "willing" to support us? Here are some of the reasons why you really ought to be...(couched, of course, in the language of diplomacy!) :-)
