Agree with that. That's technical obsolescence. The problem is, perhaps, it is not going to be CSCO, NT and LU which are going to bring to market the technologies that are going to bring to market those technologies.

That because they are too defensive of their line of business. They didn't -during the bubble- say we are going to replace all the stuff out there with this here, and showed it. No. They didn't. What they said was:

We want our customer to capitalize on their installed basis. Just wrap aroud the networks out there some contraption and keep raking in the cash. That was their mistake. But they had to do it because they live off selling SW upgrades for their installed basis.

Now we need someone else to come out and say say this is it: It is a fax machine and there is nothting a telex can do to stop the consumer using it.
