Could America be interested in the oil...? Message 18730279 -s2 btw, do you really think Saddam could have ALREADY slipped out of Iraq...? We have been watching this country (and the airspace) like a hawk for weeks now...He would have had to have plastic surgery and slip out over the border into Jordan or Iran...anything's possible...could you imagine if he left things up to his ruthless sons and 'the doubles' while he watched the war from a TV screen at a Club Med resort in the Mediteranean...? Yet, Saddam clearly didn't have good judgement since he should have negotiated for an exile deal (and guarantees for no war crime prosecution)...he has well over a billion dollars offshore in swiss banc accounts and other places -- BUT what good is it if you can't tap into it...?
