We don't need no stinking votes. We are a sovereign nation.

You need to look up the meaning of "sovereignty":

hawaii-nation.org

As you can see, sovereignty of a nation/state is its power to do as it pleases within the borders of their own country - i.e. Sovereignty of US does not give it ANY right to do ANYTHING outside the US of A.

There is no mention in our constitution of being subject to the UN or any other outside agency.

US constitution is for how Americans govern their own country. For that you need no outside approval.

However, US IS subject to the UN when it goes harassing other sovereign countries for some imagined future threat, because the US SIGNED THE UN CHARTER and is in fact one of its main founders.

See the difference?

Internal affairs >> sovereign country >> no UN
External affairs >> signed UN charter >> subject to the UN
