point well taken on Beijing. if i can get downtown at some point i'll try asking a few people whether they would be in support of the war IF the UN had approved...however i'm sure it has been debated that perhaps the UN approved gulf war 1 and that gulf war 1 never ended, there was merely a ceasefire based on Iraq accepting certain conditions which they haven't met.
