Intentionally invading another country's airspace is tantamount to a declaration of war. Turkey is a fellow member of NATO, and has been, and will probably continue to be, a great ally of the US.

The situation vis-a-vis the Kurds is a delicate matter. We need the Kurds more than we need the Turks.

Unfortunately, the intransigence of the Turks on this issue is the primary reason the war was delayed until the weather situation was almost too far gone, and I fear that coalition forces will suffer.

So, I have no doubt that Bush is highly pissed off, and this isn't likely to be forgotten.
