U.S. itself had to come today and announce that people are drawing the wrong conclusion that war could end in a couple days BECAUSE Badgdad attack force was speeding across desert as fast as they can.
Market was robust in part of giddiness at there being NO opposition----hell Saddam may be even playing a "let them come", it all boils down to Baghdad anyway.
BTW, IF "Shock and Awe" starts we will know Rummy has given up on a quick surrender.
I will say this, the administration is holding back on "Shock and Awe" because i think it is has penetrated their skulls that the HATRED of the U.S. world wide that building will everyday will shoot through the roof if they go to "Shock and Awe".
I saw idea that what is happening international could deal a heavy blow to McDonalds and Microsoft and Coca-Cola and so on and so on--- globally--and i agree this could happen as the U.S. but the U.S. is too damned arrogant to imagine this hatred will make U.S. branding a major negative globally.
I reading on how many fat cat Bush crony(Cheney's friends are all in line) are going to get big contracts in Iraq---repeat after me "This war is just about getting Saddam and has no motive to set up the first big piece in the Imperial U.S. Mid-East COLONIES"--yeh, sure..
