Bush, just like his old man, is a spineless wimp -- who would have had to hand over his lunch money if he went to my school.

Bush now has killed 13 US Soldiers and Blair has killed 4 in efforts to ward off discussions about the economy.

What is wimpy's position on North Korea -- a real foe and a REAL threat. Nah, I know we don't go there do we?

...you know we don't like situations that can't be solved with a little carpet bombing and involve having to compromise our position in any way. This is why Johnson/Nixon failed in Vietnam -- they could not deal with the intricate nature of the matter.

For the record -- I hope and pray that Saddam is tortured to the point of maximum pain, but there are a lot of things I would like; but I just can't decide to stomp my feet and expect everyone to go along with my wishes. There is far too much at stake in the Middle East to simply direct policy to your own liking. Bush is too arrogant to recognize this -- his super-insulated Bible belt mentality won't allow him to see beyond his own kind and inherited thinking.

The religious dedication and zealotry of the people of the Middle East would make the Pope blush. These people are first and foremost dedictated to their respective god(s) and then their familes -- with national concerns being a far and distant third. This is why we see so much exploitation in the region -- becuase from a political point of view -- the deep-rooted religious beliefs serve as an opiat. Thinking almost always takes a back seat to beliefs -- this is why we can all be so illogical. So we as a nation will never have any positive impact in the region until we deal with the belief system first -- otherwise we are just pursuing capitalistic objectives and telling ourselves that they are well-intentioned and liberating.

We will be dealing with this mess now for 20+ years to come with countless innocent lives lost directly and indirectly. Containment and inspections were not enough for the ego-driven madness of Wolfiwitz/Richard Perle and company.

The financial costs will prove staggerring -- as Bush will now use this as the reason why we have such significant deficits (with some truth -- now that its just started.)

The mistake that most American's will make is that we will be victorious and simply be done with the country and the region per se' -- but the insanity and foolhardiness will only have just begun.

The definition of insanity is to repeat the same behavior over and over again -- and expect different results. lil' Georgie never grew/matured beyond his family dynamics.
