If this is true, why does the fighting continue since Bush SAID he only wants Saddam out of there... The truth is nothing Bush has said is true.

You enter into a long night of spiritual darkness. Show me no flags please.

Many helpless and innocent people are suffering and dying in Iraq today as a malevolent American administration rains an unprovoked and unprecedented fusillade of death and destruction onto Iraq's densely populated urban centers in the opening volley of an unjust "war" that should not occur.

Thousands are dying at this moment. Tens of thousands more will die in the next days and weeks as the most powerful nation on earth pummels from the cowardly safety of ships at sea and high-flying aircraft a largely defenseless Third World country that has done Americans no harm. It is a dark and shameful hour.

May the people of Iraq who are making their transitions today--most especially the little children--be comforted and ushered across the void by ever present angels of mercy and love. And may they disembark on a brighter and more peaceful shore--one where George Bush with his bombs and missiles and bristling armadas can no longer threaten and terrorize them.
