It remains to be seen how well it has been planned. Early indications are positive, not negative....

The above setbacks....lack of UN and NATO support don't mean squat since we and the Brits would have borne the military burden to begin with. The problem with Turkey was more serious...but has been rectified by the seizure of airfields in Iraq to compensate. We don't need Turkey any more. Safe overflight routes exist even w/o their cooperation. That risk has been minimized....
SA is also irrelevant. Kuwait is a perfect staging area and Quatar affords a suitable operational center.

It would have been better to launch last month....but political considerations do enter into these things and the full extent of French perfidy was not comprehended until it was too late....But, even that is a minor problem....summer will be here soon but most experts agree Saddam's regime will be gone before summer arives.....and in fact, the weather factor has probably been overstated as a reason for delay in any instance....as I can attest from personal experience in the region....

Many military people warn of snafus because any war is inherently dangerous and unpredictable.....but in terms of probability....a breakdown of this campaign based on "poor planning" is extremely unlikely......
