Unless/Until something happens this is a slam dunk. Supporters of this action need not rub anyones nose in whats happened because the results do that for us. The Democrats positioned themselves in such a way that they all but retracted their support for the effort they voted for before the November elections. In doing so they created a situation where the war effort had to go badly for them to look correct about their position. That was a bad bet because not only are we superior to any military on earth but if the war went poorly it would hurt us all. Tom Daschel then drove the defining spike with his speech the other day and thus if the war goes well the democrats have all but ensured 4 more years for Bush.
