So, then, your position is: the U.S. was a terrorist state, and committed state-sponsored terrorism, from the 1780s through the 1960s (180 years). But the U.S. hasn't done anything like that recently, so we are no longer a terrorist state.

Are you sure we haven't done anything that meets your definition of terrorism, or sponsored anybody else who did it for us, since Vietnam? Since last week?
