You're missing some things which shouldn't in any way be the situation if the surrenders were for real. The last thing in the world an army would do is not supply food to their troops. The war has only been on for two days. Why would Iraq put real soldiers out in front without any food? I've seen some reports which mentioned cafes being open in Baghdad on Friday. Wouldn't a country at war confiscate the food for the troops if supplies were that short? The more Iraq can load us up with extra mouths to feed, the less supplies are available for our own forces. Not to mention that if those hap, hap, happy civilians aren't really quite so friendly as they seem, our own forces could find themselves deep in Iraq with their supply lines cut off. How hard would it be to put the most useless extra mouths to feed in uniform and send them out to be "captured", while at the same time seeding the countryside with "civilians" ready to close in behind?

You eat up the highly spun media garbage that's pumped out by the truckload without ever thinking about what you're being feed. I don't care if you agree with me or not, but can't you at least drop the "Duh, that sounds logical." Baby Huey routine? You have a brain, try unplugging it from CNN and see if it still works.
