Yes, definitely a good third alternative and all in all happy thought.

It would seem odd though that he would not have some 'deathbed order' in place. some signal that even those close to him would not understand the full ramifications of until too late. Then again Saddam like many criminals might just be plain dumb (or I'm too insidious :o)
