one other point on the nasdaq relatively performance. I think the nasdaq had outperformed this year because people were buying the high beta stocks in anticipation of the war rally. hence, I see yesterday's underperformance as the beginning of their profit taking. the damn things should have been breaking oct lows along with many of their dow brethren. the sox is up 16% for the year. they should sink much faster now.
