MSNBC analyst said that the 101st might be deployed from H2 and H3 airfields in west Iraq to "escort" the Turks out of Iraq. Kurds are saying if they are not deployed with the US as coalition forces they will be treated as enemy.

Under the circumstances, they had better not mess with Bush or, as they say in Texas, they're f-ing with their heartbeat.

Another note of interest - the Turks say that the US hasn't used Turkish airspace yet. That means we either used Jordan's, as Epstein suggested, or Iran's. Or else the Turks are lying.

In contrast, Kurdish media (allegedly non-aligned) are reporting that there was an incursion, and they are pissed off at both the Turks and the Americans, alleging that it was a deal.

Kurdish media (PUK) are also reporting that at least 30 cruise missiles were used against the Ansar Al-Islam headquarters, and there was much rejoicing.
