Actually it could be a blessing in disguise for Brits do gooders. Pentagon's hands-off policy would keep them away from contaminated and irradiated meats. It points out to the use of greatest and latest biochem, neurochem, DU, neutron, etc. available to the US forces. It is the type of weaponry that's probably already used in the last three days and/or will be used in the coming days. This battleground will be a living laboratory on the effect of these agents on humans, on the impact to the society as a whole as well as to the environment. It will be used on one of the large communities and the field experiment should be closed and top secret. It will be declared as Saddam's secret wmd's, as one should be able to tell from recent rhetorics "They may not have much, but they still have some because the full amount has not been accounted for". Look at it from practical viewpoint, it would be foolish not to try out and experiment such new weapons. Ideally UN and any other international experts should be kept out from doing any independent verification.
