And I am saying that statement marked a change in US policy from one of negotiations and "soccer diplomacy" to that of open hostility. Therefore it is not as "casual" as you seem to think. The subsequent actions by the administration and now the open statement on not wishing to have a dialogue goes to prove my point. As does the history of hostilities and US military actions to the east and west of Iran...btw, it is not I who is evaluating the axis of evil remark; it is the Iranians. I am simply bringing what is going on to the thread's attention.
