Re: "He(Daschle) was right to criticize Bush's lack of real diplomacy"

Sure. Would you like to elucidate upon a comparison between Clinton's diplomacy prior to his decision to bomb Iraq, and Bush's diplomacy prior to his? Certainly Daschle needs to, if he is to dig his way out of the hole of contradiction here.

Re: "One bit of proof Bush's lack of diplomacy costs us is the move by Turkey into Kurdistan. Veyr dangerous. Could be a land grab and/or set off a civil war betweeen two of our allies. When you alienate allies you are doing needless harm to your cause."

We obviously cannot agree with nor control the thoughts of all others, in this case some Turkish & some Kurds. This truth is not particularly affected by diplomacy. I don't think this is an example of any lack of diplomacy, and while you certainly have implied that we have done something specific to alienate one or both of the allies involved, you have not specified what you think that was.
