1) There are and never have been any democracies in the Middle East except Israel. This is total bullcrap usually posted by right wingers.

2) We are in this war because we hate brutal dictators. This is total bullcrap. We installed the Shah in Iran. Just as bad as Saddam.

The question is: Why do right wingers have on blinds when it comes to facts about our support of other dictatators or our outright coups against other democracies?

Now, don't confuse me with the leftists, I'm not saying leftists are any better they too have blinders on much of the time.
