You have to admit Bush blundered the diplomacy. My guess is it was intentional. He really never wanted the UN involved anyway. This is HIS war, not theirs. But we do need them to clean up Iraq, keep the peace and do humantarian aid. We may get them behind that effort. As for Daschle, criticizing the president before the war is fine. So long as it doesn't hurt any of our service people, it's just fair debate which this country needs more of, not less of. Whether you agree with Daschle or not. daschle now firmly supports our troops. He is a veteran himself.
