There is nothing about a fight with Iraq that will damage the war on terrorism except it will alienate a new generation of potential terrorists. If we are evenhanded about the occupation we can alleviate much of that problem.

But most of the Bush admins justification is the war is about terrorism. Like I said lies, propaganda. It's about oil.

Again like I've said many times, I'll be glad to see Saddam go. I'm going to try not to gloat if he is killed or imprisoned. Nobody disputes that he's a monster. Why do you keep beating that dead horse?

Unlike many right wingers I was against giving the Taleban help against the Soviets years ago. I was in the minority then. So, you could say, I've been against the terrorists longer than you have.

Where were you then?

I'll tell you. Most right wingers, then as now, were blindly arguing that whatever the government was doing at the time was right.
