They're liberals themselves (mostly). Like Hollywood- -which they are a branch of.

But think of the biggest San Francisco demonstration: 200,000 according to the most reliable count (done by the SF Chronicle using aerial photos).

BUT: There are over 8,000,000 people in the SF Bay Area alone. That means only 2.5% were at the demo. And that demo drew from all over CA - 30 million people. And CA is a liberal state, si if you were to randomly select 8 million people from most other parts of the country, the number opposing the war would be even less.

They are a loud but inconsequential minority.
