In review of SSRatio signals so far this year; we've seen the NASDAQ rise 2.23% while the SSRatio has been positive, but also climb 1.01% while it has been negative, (a decline of 5.59% during one negative period plus a rise of 6.57% between 3/6 and 3/18 before going positive). The NYSE, again, so far during 2003, has risen 3.24% while the ratio has been positive, and fallen 5.41% during the negative periods. Realize the SSRatio indicates the strength of the whole market, which has a large impact on the individual stock and how one should approach a trade relative to the markets internal strength. So far year we've seen 35 days of negative SSRatio and 21 days of positive SSRatio.
