Bennett doesn't care about human rights in Iraq. He cares about re-electing Bush. Take anything he says with a huge grain of salt. There are plenty of human rights tragedies world-wide. I've never heard Bennett stand up and decry any of them, until now.

Peace marchers however do generally care greatly about human rights. It's one of the reasons they're against bombing. Being killed is the ultimate loss of a human right. The right to survive. I dont agree with the marchers on this really because if war is going to happen anyway we need to do it fast and furiously. But they are the idealists, championing organizations like Amnesty International which Bennett probably dislikes. Bennett is a party hack carrying on the old "family values" Dan Quayle thing. He attakced ultra-model Lieberman in 2000. Simple proof there. Party means everything to him. Nothing else comes close. Other than that, he's a decent man I'm sure.
