Patti and I went out for dinner and movie tonight. We saw Chicago (my second time).

During dinner I said that I was feeling something strange, optimism, hope and confidence in the future. It is not because of progress in the war, which is encouraging, it is because I finally know for certain that George Bush is going to do what it takes to win this battle and the bigger battle. He got my attention with the UN speech, I was impressed he stayed the course through all the UN tsunamis and now he fighting very hard and very smart. The cruise missiles that landed on Saddam and his sons also landed in Tehran, Pyonyang, Riyhad and Damscus.

The dark clouds that landed 9/11/01 are starting to lift. The world will be shocked with the foreign policy wins for the US over the next 9 months. Iran and North Korea are next and I don't think a single shot will be fired in anger but both regimes will fall. Bush wasn't fucking around when he made the Axis of Evil speech and now he has convinced me.

The big question: where's the next Yalta and who will be invited. Sadly, my country will not be at that table.

I am now immune to the anti-war protestors, american cynics, world wide whiners, and those who can only say 'the US was bad in the past so it will be bad in the future'.

The world is in good capable hands. George Bush and Tony Blair has a deeper understanding of the morality of leadership than any other leaders in the world today. They rose to occasion and are great leaders.
