If Jeff really has taken a tougher stance, I think that should be announced and some indications of just where the lines are should be given.

And I think it would be good thing. I just PMed E that it appeared to me that, except for this thread, the moderated no-politics stock threads, and certain limited viewpoint threads, the whole site had turned into one big GWB thread.
Yeah, I agree, which is why I'm having some wonderful PM conversations with people these days and doing a lot less public posting.
You know, it would be interesting to find out whether this is a widespread phenomenon, whether people are using SI differently now. How about you?
