VETERAN INTELLIGENCE PROFESSIONALS FOR SANITY The Administration knows everything that is in the open letter. They don't care. But it is anything but fine. This kind of episode inflicts serious damage on US credibility abroad. They don't care. They couldn't threaten or bribe their way to a majority vote on the Security Council. When you're the only elephant on the block they just charge any direction they want. You're working with an American public where the majority believes that some or most of the 9/11 hijackers were Iraqis...that's the target audience.... You can fool most of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time. That takes care of 70%. Who cares about the rest? jttmab
