The all too well advertised strategy of “surgical” bombing of ONLY government-related objects will badly misfire. Look at the broadcasts from Baghdad – traffic in the streets, crowds hanging around, watching the few idiots shooting into the river, where, word has it, there may by hiding an American pilot… They are not afraid. They are not awed or shocked. All the Saddam’s crowd has to do is to keep themselves and their business away from certain specific real estate – and they will be safe. The population knows that all the bosses have to do to stay alive and in control is move a block away. Being too predictable will cost us.
