It's because of people like you that I am losing my freedom in this country. Because you seem so willing to give yours up. You think Homeland Security is so great? Does Gestapo ring a bell? That's what it can easily evolve to in the current political climate. They are going to push for the national ID for everyone. Something that has been opposed whenever it has been suggested because of the threat it poses to personal liberty and the further encroachment of an ever growing all powerful government in Washington that thinks they are forming a more perfect union. And a bureaucracy that has no idea what it means to stay out of private citizens business. They live to regulate and legislate. And when a mandatory national ID is coupled with biometric technology then that is a violation of my 1st Amendment rights to freedom of religion (because my religion says I must never participate in that system). As well as my personal liberty. And you think that's ok? Thanks for giving your consent to the ruination of my country.
