IRNA, Iran's 'Islamic Republic News Agency,' reported Thursday that Uday Hussein, Saddam's eldest son, suffered a brain hemorrhage as result of 'conflict with a member of Saddam's Fedayeen.'

On Thursday, the Lebanese daily Al-Safir reported that the Russian Embassy in Baghdad is ready to transport Saddam Hussein and his family with their luggage and money to an isolated villa in the vicinity of the Russian capital.

The Kuwaiti daily Al-Qabas reports that Saddam's son, Qusay, was killed during the 'decapitation strike.'

According to the Jordanian government newspaper Al-Rai Al-Aam, the official responsible for the security of Baghdad, Brig. General Tha'ir Al-Obeidi, fled to Oman, Jordan three days ago. Al-Obeidi was accompanied by his wife, son, and three grandchildren
