I doubt Iraq has a lot left of these weapons - That's my point. I hope we're right.

The US will look bad if they don't turn up anything - Finding some I believe is guaranteed even if it takes a plant.

They can't control Kurdistan anyway so was unlikely to see them trying to resist in the southern desert area either. That's another quagmire possibility. Originally we heard 1500 Turkish troops 'only' crossed into Iraq, when apparently it's 1500 reinforcements to thousands already there. I think the US once committed to this expedition should have told the Turks to $crew themselves when they kept holding out for more bucks. When will the US EVER learn buying friends doesn't work. They should have backed the Kurds and backed them in their own homeland quest. If the US are tacitly giving the Turks the go here and the Kurds are $crewd again, well they are asking for a world of hurt.
