did you read the Bill Krystal (sp?) article about how a free iraq will essentially nullify OPEC, and make the US less reliant on Saudi Arabia for oil, and thus remove any reliance that the US has on the country that REALLY produced the terrorists (SA). Sounds reasonable to me. This is fairly alluring and I'll bet in the back of his mind this is quite an incentive for Bush. Notice they have found NO WMDs. None. The place is supposed to be teeming with biological and chemical agents. If the US occupies iraq and no real diabolical weapons are found we as a country are toast on the diplomatic front.
