Polls during a war dont mean much. Bush will get an artificial boost and on the other side Dean will get an artificial boost from anti-war Democrats.

War enflames passions and sucks the oxygen out of all other issues. When the war is over, Kerry will easily carry New Hampshire and if Kerry runs with Edwards, Bush will probably lose N. Carolina, though it will be close. Bush just barely carried N. Carolina in 2000. Edwards will tip that balance IMHO. Same with Florida if Kerry runs with Graham.
