David, you need a reality check. Brad is not ignoring the fact that AIDS is deadly while flu rarely is. In fact AIDS is not nearly so deadly as it was, because of the new drugs which are now used to treat it. FYI, you need a live patient to make money selling a drug. Makes no difference whether a disease is fatal or not, people still need and take medication for it. AIDS is entirely irrelevant to this discussion. Brad did not say the vaccine cost $8. He cited a source that estimated that figure. He is not deciding the price but citing an estimate. This is an example of how you are twisting his words. He is not twisting anything. You are. Then you are calling him names for what you are doing. As far as patent protection goes, he has agreed with you that this is a genuine concern. Actually Brad has been extremely tolerant of the unsupported opinions you have been posting. And far more respectful of you than you have shown to be justified. He is not attacking you personally. Rather you have been attacking him personally. Hope this reality check will help you.
