<< The emerging "new" media, including FOX News, Rush, Hannity, O'Neal, etc. is what we HAVE NEEDED ever since Cronkite and Co. lost us the Vietnam war. >> I mostly follow Fox News. I also like MSNBC's Chris Matthews, especially his College Tour on Wednesday night. I don't always agree with Matthews, but he puts on a good show. Another show I really liked was Phil Donahue. I'm sorry that they pulled him off the air. (sounds of CYBERKEN throwing up in the background). I couldn't stand Donahue's point of view, and hated most of his guests, but he put on an interesting show, and sometimes the audience was able to get Donahue to understand a little about the real world. Of course, O'reilly is my favorite. Hard hitting, backbone, very smart, and he researches the issues quite a bit, not like most others. Hannity would be better if he was just by himself. Rush Limbaugh I've never liked. He speaks well, but he never offers any solutions. He reminds me of the Television Evangelist Jim Baker. |
