thanks. Some of those are definitely optimistic.

- A 'new UN' emerges with US, UK, India, (Russia, China) as the core

that would be welcome, at least by me...

- The EU and NATO collapse

The EU is gaining on the economic front, in no small part because of French muscle over there. Nato? It certainly needs to be realigned. Turkey is at risk, as is France and Belgium...

- A democratic revolution begins in Iran (and likely succeeds)

that would be awesome. what is your opinion of the likelihood?

- Kim Il Jong falls in North Korea, reunification begins

he would have to die, along with the next 200 in the line of politicians...

- DJIA climbs above 11000

well, if world peace breaks out, why not?

- Israeli / Palestine conflict resolved

not unlikely...needs to be spearheaded by the US

- Based on the Qatar-model, the Saud family moves towards democratic reform in Saudi Arabia

nope.

- Oil falls below $20/barrel, OPEC less relevant

maybe and I don't know how...

- India begins economic reforms and becomes major US allie

seems likely on the economic front
