At its First Time at Bat: Alcan Listed Among Most Admired Companies by Fortune  03/10/2003 
  Montreal, Canada — In its first year of eligibility, Alcan Inc. (NYSE, TSX: AL) has emerged as one of the "World's Most Admired Companies", finishing a strong second in the international metals industry category on Fortune Magazine's global corporate reputation survey. This is the first year Alcan met the size, annual revenue and other requirements set by Fortune for consideration on the World's Most Admired Companies list.
