B: Washington D.C. Buys New TVI Chem/Bio Infection Control System

GLENN DALE, Md., Mar 3, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- TVI Corporation (OTCBB:TVIN)
The nation's capital has chosen the newest TVI technology to protect the people,
the government and the institutions located in Washington D.C.

The systems, purchased by the Office of Homeland Security for the District of
Columbia, consist of highly portable, self-contained, trailerized apparatus that
can be deployed at a moment's notice to any site in the Washington D.C. area and
are equipped with the new TVI Bio/Infection Control facilities.

By coupling TVI's state-of-the-art technology in rapidly deployable
decontamination systems, with a full compliment of generators, self-supporting
lighting systems, and TVI's Chem/Bio Infection Control System, the Office of
Homeland Security can ensure that triage, medical and decontamination operations
can be immediately commenced, on site, with full functionality, and without fear
of contamination spread, regardless of the situation, location or scenario.

The new equipment supports chemical and biological incidences with the use of a
U.S. Army Quality Evaluation Laboratory (Aberdeen Proving Grounds) tested air
filtration system.

This system provides negative air pressure in the triage shelters and contains
the spread of both biological weapons such as smallpox, anthrax and viral
hemorrhagic fevers, as well as containing nerve agents such as VX, tabun and
sarin.

The amount of the award was $348,000. This award validates the continued quality
and unmatched performance of TVI's technology and demonstrates the real need for
rapidly deployable/portable infection control equipment.

Rick Priddy, TVI CEO states "We are proud that our equipment will be used to
help protect both the residents and visitors to the nation's capital and we
believe that the best defense against terrorism is to be well prepared. This
equipment, with the new Bio/Chem Infection Control System, brings us all closer
to that objective."

B: TVI Triples Facility Size in Response to Recent Business

GLENN DALE, Md., Mar 13, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- TVI Corporation (OTCBB:TVIN)
today announced that due to the wide acceptance of its product and corresponding
increase in demand, a major expansion of production facilities has occurred with
the relocation of its corporate headquarters and manufacturing operations to a
larger facility.

The new manufacturing plant (63,000 square feet) is more than triple the size of
TVI's previous facilities.

CEO Richard Priddy stated, "Our relocation has been very timely, as our January
orders have been the largest single month for orders in TVI history, totaling in
excess of $2.7 million. Our new facility not only provides us the means to
increase productivity, efficiency, and quality, but also provides us much
greater flexibility to respond to growing customer demand. We can better service
our clients by streamlining the time elapsed from point of order to product
delivery."

Along with the facility expansion, TVI has added personnel in three key
management positions. Mr. Victor Knox has joined TVI as VP of Marketing and
Sales, and brings 15 years of sales and marketing experience from GE and other
safety products companies. Mr. Michael Campbell has joined TVI as VP of
Operations, with previous experience at Sears Manufacturing and Johnson
Controls.

Mr. Steve Udall has also joined TVI as the Materials Manager, bringing
considerable experience from Johnson Controls and Motorola.
