pay any attention to the polls, that is held by 95% of people in Muslim nations,

If one had lived amongst muslims in muslim/secular nations, one would know that muslim culture does not lend itself to expression of opinion to a stranger on the phone polling for opinion. One gets to know real opinion, by spending time in an informal situation such as dinner, snack etc.
