Privatization takes many billions out of the public trust and gives it to Wall Street tycoons to play with. There, it is purely at the mercy of the markets. Like taking it to Vegas almost. We cannot take any risk with SS money. Remember the Great Depression? Remember this past two years? The market is risky indeed. Way too risky.
