George Bush's massive success in both foreign affairs and domestic policy can be explained by the fact the he and his immediate circle understand the left-wing enemy better than they understand themselves.
The Daschle anti-American forces' credo is simple: If George Bush says or does it IT'S WRONG. You and I know that's why they LOSE elections, but they don't, because they are still blindsided by the Clinton Disaster and their sell-out to it.
So W pushes out a pawn, and the left wing press goes crazy. In our era of rapid communication and 24/7 "news" filler, they extrapolate his gambit out for months, even years. Their fuzzy-headed pseudo-intellectuals publish books predicting Bush's "fatal error", while bovine-eyed info-babes look exasperated about a president they can't comprehend, because he talks about their specialty-current events, and they just don't UNDERSTAND all the "big" words.
Then he attacks in a DIFFERENT direction, and the left is hanging out with their dicks in the wind.
So far, it's worked EVERY TIME. And they STILL don't know what's going on. The net effect is that it chases the left back to their base-which has never been higher then 25% of the public, and has shrunk significantly from that peak over the last 5 years. It's the classic signal of a corrupt, archaic political movement sliding over the cliff for good... |
