Gloop, here are my 2 cents. The macabre images of bodies of American soldiers broadcast in our living rooms is definitely a horrible sight to see. I can just imagine the pain felt by their loved ones. But it is no better than the images of dismembered Iraqi soldiers and civilians. Or, images of Rwandans being hacked with machetes. Or, images of victims crushed in earthquakes. None of these images is pleasant. I choose to look away as I do not need to be reminded of the realities of war. If you exclude one then you should exclude the others. Just my opinion!
