Please... I have been to China, and not a few times either. Indeed, save for Hong Kong, which doesn't count, China is still very backward even in fundamental terms. We get cheap crap from China, but there are obviously severe and deeply entrenched problems with corruption regarding income distribution. Ever been to Beijing? The place is quite filthy, feudal and common people are oppressed. Ever been to northeastern China? It is like entering another world, a world that vanished centuries ago in civilized places. Visit the northern provinces in winter. Backward. I have friends in several China cities, they can't even send email in comfort. That country, despite its apparent efforts, is still quite backward.
And we won't even talks about how the Chinese are aborting their children just because they are girls. Indeed, according to my contacts there in addition to several other reports, the evidence is clear that the Chinese are not just aborting female kids before birth, they are literally murdering them once the babies are born and are discovered to be female. According to the WHO, over 50 million girls have been slaughtered after birth, simply because they were girls. That is as backward as your self-described backward ass. |
