as many billions as necessary to bring'em into the 21st century but that's life. You know pezz I don't think the US needs to be the sugar daddy to the world. In fact it causes lots of problems. Think of all that money they were willing to throw at the Turks for use of bases. You know the Turks aren't far removed from Saddam when it comes to the Kurds. Think about it some more. Would that have been money well spent ?
How many debts did they forgive to get allies in Gulf I, Egypt jumps to mind ... Or would concentrating more on Afghanistan or similar venues have been a better plan ?

And as far as blaming the US for all the woes of the world or expecting them to support the whole world well that ain't neither my view : Message 18740463
